Maggie's Cancer Center

The concept for this cancer center in Wales was originally thought up by Japanese architect Dr. Kisho Kurokawa before his death in 2007. The design is based on the concept of a cosmic whirlpool which represents a strong symbol of life. Garber and James Architects met with Dr. Kurokawa throughout the initial design process and was able to continue his vision after his passing.
